On October 11, 2023, a second lawsuit was lodged against Tim Ballard, the embattled advocate known for his anti-child trafficking efforts. This latest legal action was filed by a woman who contends that she was assaulted by Ballard during her collaboration with him. Moreover, her husband, also a plaintiff in the case, claims to have been threatened, and their marriage left in a state of turmoil.
This lawsuit closely follows another one filed on October 8, 2023, by five women who made allegations against Ballard, accusing him of exploiting their aspirations to aid in the rescue of child trafficking victims and asserting that they, too, were assaulted.
