Corrections Policy

Ensuring factual accuracy is a cornerstone of our editorial standards. American Crime Journal takes full responsibility for correcting any errors that come to our attention.

When a correction is warranted, it will be made promptly and the article will be updated to reflect accurate information. When appropriate, the correction will be clearly noted within the article.

In situations where facts are disputed or subject to differing accounts, we will identify such statements as “disputed” or “in question” and present the available information transparently.

We are committed not only to correcting errors, but to understanding how they occurred, whether through reporting, sourcing, or interpretation. This process is essential to maintaining the integrity of our work.
