American Crime Journal has obtained 75 pages from the Davis County criminal investigation spanning 2020-2023 through a public records request.
Davis County Attorney Troy Rawlings initiated an investigation into Ballard and Operation Underground Railroad over 2½ years ago in collaboration with the FBI, but he closed the case in May.
Through a public records request to the Utah Attorney General’s Office, American Crime Journal has obtained 75 pages of documents from the Davis County investigation. These documents, besides revealing allegations of misleading donors, corroborate earlier reports from Vice News. The footage shows a member of the organization’s undercover team inappropriately touching a trafficking victim, whom Davis County investigators determined was underage. Additionally, the documents indicate that the organization used a psychic to help gather intelligence.
