Who Are We?

American Crime Journal is an independent investigative publication dedicated to the examination of crime, the criminal justice system, and the individuals and institutions that shape it.

We are not a content mill, a podcast network, or a platform built on recycled narratives. Our work is grounded in primary source material, including court records, police reports, and firsthand accounts. We focus on documentation, verification, and analysis.

Our contributors approach each case with a commitment to accuracy, scrutiny, and accountability. We distinguish clearly between fact, allegation, and analysis, and we do not publish material that fails to meet our evidentiary standards.

American Crime Journal exists to examine cases beyond surface-level narratives. We do not rely on speculation or sensationalism. We follow the record, wherever it leads.

Our work is guided by a single objective:

For a Better Informed Public
